Boca Raton is a Noise Sensitive Airport.

The Noise Abatement Program contains a number of different voluntary flight and operational procedures. Please minimize Noise over residential areas. The following Noise Abatement Procedures apply to ALL aircraft:

• VOLUNTARY NIGHT CURFEW - between 10pm and 7am for all aircraft.
  
  
• Touch & Go Activity please limit Touch & Go activity to Monday thru Friday between 9am and 5pm, and please aviod activity on legal holidays.
  
  
• Stop & Go Activity - discouraged at all times.
  
  
• High Power Maintenance Run-Ups - require prior authorization of the Auithority (call 561-391-2202) and are only permitted 8am to 8pm.
  
  
• Mimimize Reverse Thrust - Use Full Runway.
  
  
• INTERSECTION TAKEOFFS - Please limit intersection takeoffs to an absolute necessity. Use full Safety Overruns for Takeoff.
  
  
• All Traffic Patterns West of Airport.
  
  
• Straight in Approaches - discouraged at all times.
  
  
• RWY 23 - Right Traffic, RWY 5 - Left Traffic.
  
  
• Use NBAA Recommended Noise Abatement Procedures.

Pilots are asked to call the Noise Abatement Office when they have need to fly during the Voluntary Curfew period. Call our office at (561) 391-2202 Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30 or call our Noise Hotline after hours and on weekends. This call will help prevent reminder letters about our Voluntary Curfew from being sent out to the aircraft owner. Boca Raton takes the Voluntary Curfew very seriously and asks that all parties involved do their best to adhere to the curfew.
